Tickets for the Behind Adobe Walls Home and Garden Tours 2025 will go on sale February 13, 2025. Thank you for the support for the our annual fundraiser. Mark you calendars for when tickets go on sale next year. Tickets often sell out very quickly. Frequently tickets become available the morning of the Tours and a Waitlist is created at 10 a.m. the morning of the Tours at the Eldorado Hotel. Inquire at the Behind Adobe Walls Registration Desk to be added to the BAW Waitlist.
Event proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Garden Club’s community education, beautification, and conservation projects including the Pollinator Garden Olmsted Project at the Amelia White Garden, the Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s Ojos y Manos Learning Laboratory and the Children’s Discovery Garden as well as the New Mexico Museum of Art Courtyard Garden, a legacy gift to the Santa Fe community.

Behind Adobe Walls and Pequeno Home and Garden Tours’ proceeds now approach $50,000 annually and support a variety of community projects in the areas of conservation, horticulture, floral design, educational programs specifically designed for school-age children. As supporters of the Behind Adobe Walls Home and Garden Tours, your participation assures the continuation of the SFGC’s many projects in the community.
The first tour was held in 1939 and the cost of the tour was 35 cents. Over the years, the tours have grown and continue to showcase beautiful homes and gardens in Santa Fe and surrounding areas.
On the day of the tour, there are often tickets available. We will release tickets on the day of the tour in the order of people’s arrival time.
Guests board buses at Eldorado Hotel, 309 W. San Francisco. City parking lots across the street from the Eldorado Hotel, with the entrance on Water Street.
10:30 am – 11:55 am Registration
10:45 am to Noon – Lunch – Reservations required
12:00 pm – Guests Board Buses
12:15 pm – 4:45 pm Guided Bus Tour
$130 per person—each tour
$45 per person – tax and tip included – Epicurian plated lunch

Guests board SFGC hostess-guided buses equipped with HEPA filters at noon and visit four unique, seldom-seen private residences each week. Each tour features four different houses. Refreshments are served at each delightful garden on the tour. Regrettably, these tours are not ADA accessible. Walking is required. Homes do not accommodate mobility devices. Tickets are non-refundable and changes to tour dates are not allowed, but you may transfer a ticket to another person. Masks are encouraged, but not required. This is subject to change. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle to minimize plastics in the landfill.
Pequeño (Small) Tours
The small and private Pequeño Home & Garden Tours are offered mid-April through mid-October and provide entry into some of Santa Fe’s finest homes and gardens. Small groups enjoy visiting up to three beautiful residences on a 3-4 hour tour hosted by Santa Fe Garden Club members.
Each tour includes narrated descriptions of the homes as well as stories of historic Santa Fe. Groups arrange their own transportation by van or small bus. Key Considerations:

- Minimum requirement is ten guests.Cost per guest is $75.
- If there are fewer guests, cost remains at $750 per tour.
