The Santa Fe Garden Club, in conjunction with the Garden Club of America’s attention to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, has worked with the Parks Department of Santa Fe as well as other organizations to refresh a wonderful city park.

The Mayor will be in attendance as well a member of the City Council, and other representatives from the community. The re-dedication will take place at 10 AM. Families are invited to come, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the garden. There will be a “Pet Promenade”, and people are asked to contact the Garden Club if they would like their pet included in this event.

There will be community organizations present with information on gardening using drought tolerant plants. This event is free and open to everyone.
