After a two-year hiatus, the Santa Fe Garden Club is thrilled to announce the resumption of their signature Behind Adobe Walls Home and Garden Tours.
All CDC guidelines that are currently in place will be followed to protect the safety and well being of our valued guests, homeowners and volunteers.
Behind Adobe Walls Covid Policy
Keeping our volunteers, homeowners and guests safe and healthy is a top priority for us. All guests participating in the Behind Adobe Walls Home and Garden Tours and Pequeno Tours will be required to show proof of vaccination upon checking in for a tour. Acknowledgement of vaccination status will also be required at the time of ticket purchase.
As of August 20, 2021, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has reinstated a mask mandate when indoors. We ask guests to wear a mask for the duration of the tour, including in the registration area, on the buses, and in the homes and gardens. Should CDC and New Mexico Health Guidelines change, our policies may change.
We hope that you feel safe while attending our Behind Adobe Walls Tours and thank you in advance for your consideration!
To all of our wonderful guests, we appreciate your continued support!
Event proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Garden Club’s community education, beautification, and conservation projects including the Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s Ojos y Manos Learning Laboratory and the New Mexico Museum of Art Courtyard Garden, a legacy gift to the Santa Fe community.
We look forward to seeing you on July 19 and 26, 2022.

Since 1940 guests have enjoyed Santa Fe’s oldest and most prestigious Home & Garden Tour on two Tuesdays in the month of July. Guests board SFGC hostess-guided buses equipped with HEPA filters at noon and visit four unique, seldom-seen private residences each week. Each tour features four different houses. Refreshments are served at each delightful garden on the tour. Regrettably, these tours are not ADA accessible. Walking is required. Homes do not accommodate mobility devices. Tickets are non-refundable and changes to tour dates are not allowed, but you may transfer a ticket to another person. All guests must show proof of vaccination at time of check in and wear masks for the duration of the tour.
On the day of the tour, there are often tickets available. We will release tickets on the day of the tour in the order of people’s arrival time. Numbers will be given out at the registration desk beginning at 10:30 am.

The small and private Pequeño Home & Garden Tours are offered mid-April through mid-October and provide entry into some of Santa Fe’s finest homes and gardens. Small groups enjoy up to three beautiful residences on a 3-4 hour tour hosted by Santa Fe Garden Club members. We follow all CDC COVID recommendations.
Each tour includes narrated descriptions of the homes as well as stories of historic Santa Fe. Groups arrange their own transportation—van or small (29 passengers) bus. Assistance in securing transportation will be provided. For more information about reservations, please call 505-986-5052 or 617-633-4123.
